Message A couple of my neighbors upstairs got drunk Saturday night and started throwing beer bottles from the 3rd floor into the parking lot (yes, neer my car). I didn't go out to move the z because I'd rather they hit it than them hit me going out to it. They did throw a couple at a couple of people walking by. I called the apt complex and requested an officer, but the night time managers didn't do anything. So I called the cops on my own will. They stopped by my apt, asked me what was going on and said she would talk to them. She stayed maybe 2 minutes talking to them and drove off. They continued to throw beer bottles afterwards. My apt complex is only going to send them a letter saying that they are aware of the incident, but no diciplinary action is going to take place. This isn't the first time I've had problems with them throwing glass into the parking lot, and I've told the apt complex before. They've thrown computer chairs (almost hitting a BMW, don't know how it missed it really), light bulb covers (glass and plastic), real estate signs. Its a never ending thing with these guys. I'm thinking of cancelling my lease soon since I'm sure I could find a loophole in the contract because of these incidents. I'm just waiting for my friend's parents to buy a house here in G'ville so I can move in with him.

Anyone know of any legal actions? I mean, I know why the cop didn't do anything. It was because I called and not the landlord. They would have only been able to do something that night if they had done damage to my property or me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. On a side note, the Z is fine, she was parked just far away enough out of range not to get any bottles land on her. There is glass though that did make it within a couple of feet from the tires.

Funny thing is my girlfriend says I'm too fast. Go figure ~jonnyz (DC)
